The Salvation Army, Hong Kong

Glad to hear about the internet magazine and that the publication on Self-discovery.

Here in Hong Kong, the Saori is getting spreading thro media coverage after our Saori exhibition in mass transit railway station. But the community working on Saori is still limited to rehabilitation setting.

In working with the mentally handicapped, we are trying to record the changes in individual weavers---the therapeutic side of the weaving. This may match with the theme on your book. E.g. a young MH man became quite organized in his home living after he joined the training class which required him to help setting & returning the training venue each day(venue
is basically the common room for residents). He un-noticeably changed in a number of ways which the mother could not figure the how and why.... After an accidental visit, the mother instantly ordered 5 pieces of woven work from her son.

We keep recording this sort of improvements when the individuals also progress in their weaving. I would like to read and see more of this kind of contribution from other friends in your mail magazine.

I recently viewed the internet gallery from your site and that was very good indeed for sharing and inspiration.

Thanks for attention.
